Hello, my name is Nigel Travis, and I am the Chairman of Leyton Orient Football Club.
Founded in 1881, Leyton Orient are London’s second oldest football club, one steeped in a rich and varied history, and at the heart of its community.
We have produced great players, played in all four professional football leagues, with promotions and memorable cup runs that have excited our supporters and written new pages in our history.
The club has recently been crowned 22/23 Sky Bet League Two champions, capturing the imagination of our supporters and partners – with full stadiums, complete sell out of all three playing shirts and record sales of season cards for our Sky Bet League One campaign in 23/24.
As a Board of Directors, we feel there is huge potential here and we are fully committed to driving this football club forward.
Whilst things look good on the pitch, off the pitch, a new era beckons.
Situated in the heart of London’s East End, Leyton is set to undergo widespread regeneration, as new apartments will see thousands of new residents move into the area.
This represents real potential to grow our supporter base, which we hope to go hand-in-hand with the team’s success.
We have a talented team on and off the field who are flexible and innovative, with a can-do attitude to achieving success.

01. location and fanbase
Leyton, situated in the borough of Waltham Forest, has been regenerated as a result of the2012 Olympics and is constantly evolving. With the Central Line connecting it to the City to the west and leafy Essex to the east, the area promises the best of both worlds. Leyton Underground Station is due for a £14m renovation project within the next 18 months to cope with the expanding local population & economy.
Waltham Forest Council plan to build a further 18,000 new homes in the borough of Waltham Forest in next five years. 5,500 of those will be less than one mile from the stadium
Leyton Orient continues to grow its fan base seasonally, for the 23/24 season we have already had a number of sell out home games.

03. Leyton Orient Woman
It’s safe to say that the 22/23 football season has been one to remember for the O’s women. With being promoted, winning the league, remaining unbeaten and appointing anew head coach, the O’s have proven that they’re here to stay.
Women’s football is growing exponentially worldwide.
After bringing the team in-house in 2021 they have accomplished:
Back-to-back promotions in the last two seasons
Finishing last season as undefeated League champions, only dropping two points all year
Entering the FA Cup in 2023 for the first time since the rebrand, winning two rounds against higher league opposition
Introduced an U18 squad in 22/23, that compete in the Junior Premier League
Awarded a joint license with Leyton Orient Trust in 2022 to run an Emerging Talent Centre, currently 70 girls registered at the centre
